Bad Wolf MMA Competes at EGO Tournament

Just a quick news update to say congratulations to all of our competitors that turned out for the Extreme Grappling Open which took place this last weekend in Nashville, TN. This was the James Clingerman led organizations second trip out here to Nashville in an attempt to cater to the local Nashville MMA and BJJ scene, and it was clear right away that attendance had improved this year. Out of all the competitors that Bad Wolf sent to the gym only one failed to medal in their division, leaving us with a staggering prize count of 7 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals. Our jiu-jitsu white and blue belts were able to win awards in every division that they entered and in many divisions we were able to gather two of the top 3 awards to bring home to our team.

It was a great weekend of good sportsmanship all-around, and for several of the gym’s white belts it was their first tournament. In Bad Wolf’s training programs we don’t require anyone to compete unless they choose to do so, but everyone has been so glad to have the experience and shared group fun of going out to test their skills against some of the other schools local to our area.
